Samuel Mingham
A highly motivated hardworking individual, who is looking for additional work. In the past year, I successfully completed the National Citizen Service (NCS), where I gained leadership, teamwork, and communications skills, and worked as part of a team for a social action project. We raised £800 for the Liverpool Sunflower Cancer Care Centre.

Experience
Work Experience
I decided to do a bit of work experience during education and after to see what other skills and knowledge I could gain out of it.
Specsavers Allerton Road - Optical Assistant - January 2018 to June 2018
Part Time Work
Deciding to work in Specsavers was a great choice and a really good expereience for myself. I gained a lot of skills along the way and met a lot of interesting people. The main thing that I found most interesting about working in Specsavers was customer service, I quickly gained the confidence to provide the best customer service possibly. On the other hand using the machines and fixing glasses on a day to day basis was great, and although I was only their for 6 months I've got a good understanding on how to provide customer service to those who need it.

On the other hand I have also done work experience with my uncle, who has over 30 years experience in the industry. I learned many skills and came away with the knowledge of understanding the different meanings to Graphic Design. During my experience with this I have learned the following: Business Cards, Stickers & Prints, Signage & Display, Vehicle Graphics. Even today I am setting up my own website to promote the work that I do.
Spare Time
Hobbies and Intrests
This is something that I love to do in my spare time, and the more I work on it the better I am going to get. On the other hand I would love to see this take off and hopefully people enjoy what I do.

Some stickers are laminated to keep their appearance looking good and make them more durable, especially for outdoor purposes.

During my time working along side my uncle, he taught me the basics of sticker printing. I instantly fell in love with this concept and decided to start my own business selling stickers to different people. I really enjoy doing it and hopefully i'll still be doing it in the future.

I have always been intrigued with business cards. There is something about them that catches my eye. So I decided to create my own business cards, and hand them out to people in my local area. To this day I am getting orders every month of some customers. And because of this I love to make people happy and make their business successful.

I believe that everyone should do what makes them happy, I love to go on adventures and experience life up close in person

I have a lot of people that support and love me. Not only that but I have a great friendship group who I often go on adventures with. I love to keep fit and active, and I believe that if you challenge yourself mentally and physically, you can overcome anything that stands in your way.
